This proves to be a challenge that Playtech handles wonderfully, as each slot is given equal amount of space. You may be wondering how in the world Playtech managed to get four slots on the screen and still leave space for the user interface. Well, that is a fair thought and what is even more impressive is that the user interface is not nullified due to the increased game presence.
In fact, the control panel takes up the whole bottom section of the screen. It has some personalised elements to it as well, as you can see all the displays and buttons lying amidst the sand. You can find your total bet and winnings in the middle of the UI. To the left of that display, you will find the line bet which you can adjust with the “+” or “-” symbol. To the right of the winnings display, you will find the auto play, spin, and turbo mode buttons.
Since there are four slots on the screen, Playtech planned ahead as they predicted players might want the game to move at a faster pace. In that case, all you have to do is hit the turbo mode button and watch the game fly by.
Riding the waves
Sunset Beach, even with four slots, runs amazingly smooth. When you win the symbols on that winning payline will have a fun animation, such as one of the girls dancing or the soda and ice shaking. For even more information, you can hover the mouse over the winning payline and a small display will appear with the total winnings from that line detailed.
Dancing across the sand
Taking the action to the absolute max, there are three wild symbols in Sunset Beach. If any of the bikini girls land on reels two, three, or four, it becomes an expanding wild and it also clones onto any remaining reels that have yet to finish spinning. While it is hardly the most of original of bonus features, there is no denying that with all the fun animations in tow it does at least appear fresh.
