Pragmatic Play continues to expand into new markets having inked a B2B partnership with licensed online betting platform provider CDP Gaming Technologies for its South African brand, YesPlay.
The multi-vertical deal with the Johannesburg headquartered provider will allow the holders of a manufacturers license in South Africa to be a distributor of Pragmatic Play’s products in the country.
Initially, the Gibraltar-based supplier will take its live casino suite, which is available from desktops and laptops to smartphones, tablets and VR gadgets, live throughout the nation, while its slots and virtual sports products are to follow in the “near future.”
Director and Co-Owner for CDP Gaming Technologies, Tebogo Makamo commented on the new partnership…
“Pragmatic Play is the latest provider to enter the South African market in partnership with CDP Gaming Technologies and we are extremely happy to be the first operator to offer their content to South African players.
“CDP and Pragmatic Play will strive to bring great innovative and award-winning games to the thriving gambling industry in South Africa.”
The deal is just one in a series of the provider’s continued global expansion, having secured various commercial agreements, including its most recent with Colombian operator BetPlay, as well as other LatAm interests Bplay in Argentina, Bplay Paraguay, SellatuParley in Venezuela and BetConnections, and in the Dominican Republic with Superbets, and Peru with Solbet.
2021 has also seen Pragmatic ink deals with Mansion’s Asian-facing brand M88, alongside UK operator Buzz Bingo and SkillOnNet’s brand PlayOJO, Greentube’s Italian B2C brand, StarVegas.it., and in Bulgaria with EGT Digital.
South Africa debut:
Also commenting on the arrangement, African Business Development Manager for Pragmatic Play, Solomon Godwin, used a company press release to say…
“We are thrilled to partner with CDP Gaming Technologies, a leading Licensed Betting Platform provider in South Africa, to be a distributor of our products in the country.
“Through this partnership, South African gaming enthusiasts will have access to all of Pragmatic Play’s award winning and innovative Live Dealer games and we are excited to make our debut in the market.”
The multi-content provider’s live casino suite, which is headlined by its Roulette, Baccarat, and Blackjack products, continues to see success, combining brick-and-mortar classics with an “optimized” offering for online markets to ensure an immersive gaming experience.
Slots and awards:
Pragmatic’s latest title, Joker King, launched at the same time the YesPlay deal was announced, while news of its Most Responsible iGaming Content Provider in Europe award from CFI Magazine arrived mid-week.
