One of the latest partnership deals to occur in the New Year involves 888 and Caesars Interactive Entertainment. The two have decided to continue working together via a B2B poker partnership. An extension has been signed, seeing 888 as the power behind the online poker rooms of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) for a few more years. The deal comes as plans are being made to enter new regulated markets.

Continued Online Poker Success

With the extended partnership, 888’s poker platform will remain in place along with services for Caesars‘ online poker needs within the United States. The online poker option provides WSOP action to players via desktop as well as mobile devices.

As part of the services, 888 is the only operator to power an interstate poker network, where states share liquidity. This network functions in Delaware, New Jersey, and Nevada. With interstate connectivity, players have more options when it comes to cash games and tournament traffic.

888 is known for providing quality gaming options to poker players via the WSOP brand. In 2020, the WSOP offered online events in the US as well as bringing the Main Event online. It may have been last minute, but eventually, Damian Salas was named the WSOP Main Event Champion for 2020.

Casino Content

Along with online poker, 888 is also in charge of casino gaming for Caesars brands. The partnership will see 888 continue to operate a proprietary casino platform and provide content for the WSOP Casino and Harrah’s in New Jersey.

The two also plan to work together to enter new states. An example of extending its reach in the United States involves PennsylvaniaCaesars Interactive already has a license to operate in the Keystone State and looks to launch online services in the future.

SVP–Head of US of 888, Yaniv Sherman, commented on the partnership extension stating: “Our partnership with Caesars has been powering the hugely popular WSOP brand online since 2013 and we are looking forward to continuing this relationship for many years to come.
